Enterprise Oxfordshire Start-Up Club

Three evening sessions on the fundamentals of starting a business, run alongside a group of peers in the same position.

What it is

For anyone thinking about starting a business, already trading as a sole trader, or in the early stages and looking to grow or pivot. Each of the three sessions is led by a different business adviser, with practical content and a group of peers working through the same things at the same time. You finish with a plan for starting the business and reaching the next milestone.

Session 1 — Planning Your Business (7 October). Lesley McKie, Director at Positively Media, introduces the Business Model Canvas — a way of getting a business plan onto a single page, and a useful tool for sharpening the idea itself.

Session 2 — Delighting Your Customers (21 October).

Session 3 — Managing Your Business Finances (4 November).

Sessions are booked separately.
